The only 3 reasons you will fail

High performing, high stress levels … Not so high incomes. I see so many high performing female leaders (in their own way – from leading their business to a team in an organization to leading their own life) working around the clock, taking care of making the impossible possible, ensuring everything and everyone runs smoothly and still, they don’t get the recognition (and with that, the financial reward) that their male counter parts get.

I also see many making grand plans and big goals especially with a new Year just starting, but burn out half on the way there or give up on them before they even start because they don’t know where to focus first and how to even make it happen;

They already feel tired and overwhelmed with what’s going on in their daily life – surviving the daily struggle. There are 3 reasons why people ¾ and in particular women ¾  fail:

1. Unhealthy beliefs for themselves

Why does it always happen to me?  This thought only keeps you stuck where you are now and your focus on the problem; not on the solution.

2. Unhealthy beliefs about others

We believe others control us and with that, we give away the power. ‘I have to work late.’ – you give away the power. You may need to face consequences but it’s still your choice. It’s up to YOU how you respond to others

3. Unhealthy beliefs about the world

So many believe that the world owes us something. When we work hard, we need to be rewarded, right? Wrong. This expectation causes frustration as the world is not ‘fair’. It’s what we make out of it that counts.

Things don’t just come because you want it. They come because you put your energy in ¾ wisely. If you are serious about progressing and getting rewarded for your worth, you first need to let go of the negative believes and fears that have held you back so far.

You cannot move forward when you stand still. It’s an evolution knowing what only you can do better than everyone else – because of everything you believe in, stand for, experienced throughout your journey – and is empowering.

It is about having the clarity about how you can make the impact only you can make that others are looking for. It is about positioning yourself as the Go-to-Expert in your field to make it easy for others to see you.

It is about communicating your value clearly to the ones who matter so you can capitalize on them – with ease!

Let’s not repeat another year of complaining, comparing and confusing. Let’s get clear, confident and choosy with who we are, the people we want in our lives and the remuneration we want for our worth!
