Social media is red hot with the best and worst looks of the Emmys. Women posing on the red carpet, and photographers clamouring and snapping away to get the right shot for publication.
And of course the perennial questions: like ‘who are you wearing?’ Still the most popular query put to those who walk the red gauntlet on the way into the awards.
But whilst most women and the rest of the world were focusing on celebrity hairstyles and gowns, here at The Business Woman Media we were applauding Supergirl stuntwoman Jessie Graff, who we think is leading the way as a role model for young women everywhere.
She blitzed the red carpet with a pose that shows that a woman can look elegant, powerful and strong all at the same time. No prissy simpering at the cameras with her feet in the stereotypical crossed ankle positions and the torso twisted to make it look even skinnier. Instead our Jessie showed off her muscles, strength and agility. Bravo.
Jessie Graff is also America Ninja Warrior and was the first woman to conquer the new 14.5 foot Warped Wall in the Los Angeles qualifiers.
This is the kind of business woman we need to shine the light on. Showing women around the world it is sexy to be smart, fit and also to have fun.
Oh did I also mention she is fearless? You would have to be in order to do a backflip ON the actual red carpet. Mind = blown.
Jesse is a much needed poster girl for success in today’s society full of unrealistic social media standards and self-esteem issues with our youth.
I have one word for Jessie Graff. BOOM!
