So we’ve all heard of the movie He’s Just Not That Into You which pretty much told every woman on the planet “you are only worthy if the man wants you”. It laid out all the signs you need to watch and how to play the game correctly (essentially pandering to the man to try and secure a relationship).
Well I say screw that.
I know plenty of women who are the package deal. Smart, honest, committed and loyal. Why should they be the ones being told “sorry… he’s just not that into you”
Newsflash. Maybe she’s not that into you either, buddy.
Here are the signs in case you missed them…
1. She stops communicating
Many men believe women stop communicating when they are mad. That may be true for some. What is also true for most women is that they stop communicating when they don’t receive enough attention, or can see the relationship is damaging for them. Simple.
If you text us and we reply. This means we are nice people. If you don’t reply. We will just text someone else. Men may think they’re God’s gift to women…but we KNOW we are God’s gift to men.
2. She looks better when she is without you
Yes we love working out and dressing up, but guys, don’t for a minute think it is to get attention from you. Of course, we want our men to adore us, but we don’t limit that attention either. If our guy stops noticing us, well, let’s face it, there are plenty of compliments to go around elsewhere.
So if she starts to look better when she is headed somewhere without you, start to worry.
3. She doesn’t lean on you
We will always go out of our way to be there for you. It’s in our nature. Even if we have a full time job and a thousand commitments, we will put you first if we really like you and especially if we love you. If we don’t. Then we’re just not that into you.
If we are having a bad day or a hard time in life. No it isn’t a ‘duty’ for you to be there for us. Yes you should want to be, but if you’re not we will slowly move away and rely on you less and less until … poof … we disappear. If your heart isn’t in it we would rather recover alone. And continue that way too.
4. Do whatever you want
When we say “do whatever you want” we actually mean it. If that means you act in a way we don’t like so be it, then we will CTRL+ALT+DEL you in a flash.
Don’t forget we can do what we want too, you know. Snap.
5. She says no
This is more for the guys who have the expectation and sometimes arrogance to believe that if they ask you out or even ask your name –you should feel privileged and bend to their whims. Yeah … no. When a woman says “no” she really does mean it. No. Really.
Now if you are in a relationship, this could be different. No often means “keep trying harder and for longer”. But if you have been blocked, deleted or eliminated…
…yeah, she’s just not that into you.
